Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH)

Greater Tampa: Chapter 705

Our members are past or present members of the United States Armed Forces who were injured in combat.

100 % of our members have received the Purple Heart Medal for combat related injuries.

“All Combat Wounded Veterans are Wounded Warriors, but not all Wounded Warriors are Combat Wounded Veterans.”

Unlike a 501(c)(3), our members of the 501(c)(19) are not compensated for their volunteer service.

Our veterans assist disabled and needy war veterans and members of the United States Armed Forces and their dependents – and the widows and orphans of deceased veterans.

To provide care, entertainment, comradery, and assistance to hospitalized veterans or other combat wounded veterans.

Our members present ROTC and JROTC Cadets with the MOPH Leadership at the end of every school year.
