1st Chapter Golf Scramble
This will be Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) Greater Tampa: Chapter 705’s First Golf Scramble Fundraiser. Donations help with events, medals, awards, lunch for members, transportation, etc.

Purposes of Golf Scramble Fundraiser
Patriotism
Our patriots promote both Purple Heart Day and the birthday of General George Washington. Our members also participate in events and functions in regard to Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Independence Day, and each branches’ birthdays.
Historical
Our aim is to keep alive the memory and achievements of our Country’s founders and to ever cherish the memory of General George Washington, who instituted the Purple Heart on August 7, 1782.
Fraternal
Our combat wounded patriots provide assistance to all our veteran brothers/sisters in their time of need. Donations also assist our patriots in joining together at local chapter meetings, monthly; meeting of officers along with other chapters in Florida, quarterly; and sending selected members/officers to our national meeting, yearly.
Educational
Through donations, every year we provide MOPH Leadership Medals and certificates to well-deserving cadets from our local J/ROTC programs. We also have a scholarship for students who meet the criteria.
